Regulations and Directives

EU Regulations and Directives are justified if they bring benefits for a vast majority of people in Europe. At the same time, they should never become a burden beyond measure for a minority. UNIEP makes sure that this political principle is not overseen by putting in place a constant exchange of views with the political bodies in Brussels, which is based on UNIEP's expertise.

Members of UNIEP take the opportunity to support with their practical experience a number of political decisions that are important for all painting contractors in Europe. Their political engagement pays off. Early information enables immediate influence on important legislation. UNIEP works actively for its members.
